 Novel quinolinylisoxazoline derivatives 7a-m have been synthesized by the [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of the nitrile oxide generated in situ from 5 and allyl phenyl ether derivatives 6. These compounds showed herbicidal activities against barnyardgrass species at a rate of 1 Kg/ha.
