Four thiazolidines and following five new compounds were prepared by the addition reaction of cysteine and thiophenol to α,N-diphenylnitrones, respectively ; α,thiophenoxy-benzylidene aniline ;α,thiophenoxy-p-hydroxybenzylidene aniline ; α,thiophenoxy-p-chlorobenzylidene aniline ;α,thiophenoxy-p-methoxybenzylidene aniline ; α,thiophenoxy-p-nitrobenzylidene aniline. The structure of these compounds were confirmed by the elemental analysis, UV-, IR-and NMR-spectra.
