The NMR spectrum of newly synthesized compound, trans-2-butenedial bishydrazone is analyzed. It is found that each peak in the AA'BB' spectrum of the compound is consisted of two lines and internal check cannot be accomplished by the usual analytical procedure. Correct line positions are obtained by varying gradually all the parameters, δ, K, M, N, L so that the mid points of the doublets may approach observed line positions and the chemical shifts and the coupling constants of the compound are obtained from the result.
