Studies on X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis of Sulfide Ores by Solution Technique (Ⅱ). Analysis of Iron, Copper and Cobalt

용액법을 이용한 황화광석의 X-선 형광분석에 관한 연구 (제2보). 철, 구리 및 코발트의 분석

황을 분석하기 위하여 준비한 용액을 이용하여 황화광석중 철, 구리, 코발트를 X-선 형광법으로 정량하였다. 시료를 Br2 와 HNO3의 혼합용액으로 녹인 다음 HF로 처리하여 주성분인 SiO2를 제거한 다음 용액으로 만들었다. 분석결과는 철함량이 20 ~ 50%에서 ±1.5%, 구리 함량이 10 ~ 15%에서 ±1.0%, 코발트함량이 1 ~ 5% 범위에서 ±0.4% 이내로 다른 습식분석법의 data와 일치하고 있으며 재현성에 있어서도 좋은 결과를 얻었다.

Utilyzing the solution prepared for the sulfur determination, the amounts of iron, copper and cobalt in the sulfide ore were determined by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. The samples were dissolved with the mixed solutions of Br2 and HNO3, and a major constituent of SiO2 was repelled from the solution by HF treatment several times. The analytical results agreed with the data obtained by conventional methods within ±1.5% for Fe of the range of 20 to 50%, ±1.0% for Cu of 10 to 15%, and ±0.4% for Co of 1 to 5%. The present method was tolerably found to be reproducible.
