Trimethyldiethylaminosilane, trimethylanilinosilane, trimethyldiethylaminostannane and trimethylanilinostannane were reacted with phenylisocyanate at various temepturares. All the reactions below l00℃ gave only triphenylisocyanurate, but above 150℃, diphenylcarbodiimide also was produced considerably. The reaction rate of anilinosilane was faster than that of aminosilane, but in the case of stannanes, the amino compound was more reactive.
