A Study on the Oxidation Reaction of Iron (Ⅱ) Sulfate by Dry and Wet Process

황산제1철의 건습식에 의한 산화반응에 대한 연구

황산제 1철을 전기로내에서 하소시키고, 물에 침출시켜 몰비(Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ))를 변화시킨 각각의 수용액을 가수분해하여 산화철 생성반응을 검토하였다. 하소온도가 증가함에 따라 소광중의 Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)비가 증가하였고, 500℃에서 1시간 가량 하소시킨 시료가 등몰이 됨을 알았다. 등몰로 형성된 시료를 20% 수용액으로 만든 다음 pH 7 ∼ 8로 조절하고 반응온도 100℃, 가압솥내 압력 3기압 및 반응시간 2시간으로 하여 가수분해 하였더니 진한흑색의 산화철이 93%이상 생성되었다.

A study on the formation of black iron oxide was carried in differents of Fe(Ⅲ), Fe(Ⅱ) ion in the aqueous solution that iron(Ⅱ) sulfate was calcined under various temperature and leached in water. The results obtained was follows; (1) It was found that the sample calcined in an electric muffle furnace maintained at 500℃ for 1 hour and leached in water was equivalent mole (Fe(Ⅲ) /Fe(Ⅱ) = 1) in 20 % aqueous solution. (2) When the above mentioned solution was hydrolyzed at pH range of 7 to 8 for 2 hours at 100℃, 93 % and over of iron was recovered in the form of α-Fe3O4 with a black colour.
