The Study of Analytical Chemistry of the Modification of Manganese Dioxide (Report Two). Quantitative Determination of γ-Manganese Dioxide by Differential Heating Curves

변태이산화망간의 분석화학적 연구 (제2보). 시차열곡선에 의한 γ-MnO2의 정량법

γ-MnO2는 시차열곡선에서 결정전이의 흡열 peak가 명백하게 나타났으며 타변태의 전이온도와 상이하였다. 본 peak를 이용하여 반면적법으로 γ-MnO2만의 정량분석을 검사하였다. 상대오차 ±5%범위내에서 시료 50mg∼300mg까지 정량할 수 있었다. α,β-MnO2(pyrolusite)가 방해물질로서 약 75%까지 혼합될경우에도 상대오차는 ±10%정도였으며 약 50%내외가 혼합될 경우에는 상대오차 ±5%내외로서 거의 영향이 없었다.

Endothermic peak of transformation of γ-MnO2 was obviously shown by differential heating curve in the present study, and the transformation temperature was different from other modification. γ-MnO2 carried out to analyze exclusively, by means of the half area method in corresponding endothermic peak of differential heating curve. α and β-MnO2(Pyrolusite) containing in sample about 75% is interfered about ±10% of the relative error, and while those of below 50% is interfered about ±5%.
