Abstract |
이 연구에서는 고등학생과 과학교사들을 대상으로 과학의 본성을 알아본 다양한 기존의 검사 도구들을 살펴보고, 과학철학적 방법론에 근거하여 다양한 검사 도구의 시각을 통일한 새로운 검사 도구를 개발하였다. 그리고 이 검사도구로 고등학생들과 과학 교사들의 과학에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 고등학생들과 과학교사의 과학철학적 관점은 전반적으로 약간 가설-연역적 방법으로 쏠린 중립적 경향을 나타내었다. 이러한 경향은 고등학생들의 계열과 성별에 따라, 그리고 과학교사들의 성별과 근무 학교에 따라 차이를 보이지 않았다. 개발한 검사 도구의 하위 주제는 6가지였는데, 지식의 객관성, 이론/실험/법칙/모델, 과학적 연구 방법, 진보된 이론에 대한 인식 등에서는 교사와 학생의 차이가 별로 크지 않았다. 그러나 과학변화 양상과 과학과 비과학에 대한 인식은 교사와 학생 사이에 관점의 차이가 크게 나타났다.
In this study, we investigated diverse testing tools for searching nature of science, and developed new testing tool for integrating diverse sights of the tools. We investigated viewpoints of science of high school students and science teachers. Most of them tended to have neutral viewpoint slightly tended to hypothesis-deductivism. This tendency is not differ according to students’ academic course and gender, and teachers’ sex and school levels. The sub-categories of the testing tool were six; objectivity of knowledge, theory/experiment/law/model, scientific research method, patterns of change in science, classification of science and non-science, progressive theory. There were not differ form science teachers and students on philosophical viewpoints on science. But on the viewpoints of patterns of change in science and classification of science and non-science, students were differ from science teachers.
