Determination of Nickel after Column Preconcentration with Its Nitroso-R Salt and Cetyltrimethylammonium Bromide Ternary Complex on Bezophenone

관에 들어있는 benzophenone위에 Ni(II)-nitroso-R salt-CTAB 삼성분 착물로 흡착 농축시킨 후 흔적량의 니켈(II)을 정량할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다. 시료용액의 pH, nitroso-R salt와 cetyltrime- thylammonium bromide(CTAB)의 양, benzophenone의 양, 시료용액의 흐름속도 등과 같은 실험조건을 최적화하였다. 이 방법에서 다른 이온들에 비해 Co(II), Cu(II), 및 CN- 이온이 심하게 방해를 하였는데 이는 nitroso-R salt의 농도를 10-3 M이 되게 조절함으로서 해결하였다. 이 방법의 검출한계는 2.0 ng mL-1 이었으며, 실제시료에 들어있는 Ni(II)의 회수율은 95%이상이었다.

A sensitive technique for the determination of trace amount of nickel(II) after the preconcentration by adsorbing on benzophenone in a column as a Ni(II)-nitroso-R salt-CTAB ternary complex was developed. Several experimental conditions such as the pH of sample solution, the amount of nitroso-R salt and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB), the amount of benzophenone, and the flow rate of sample solution were optimized. The interfering effects of diverse ions were investigated. Co(II), Cu(II) and CN- ion interfered more than any other ions, but these effects could be overcome sufficiently by adjusting the concentration of nitroso-R salt to be 10-3 M. The detection limit of this technique was 2.0 ng mL-1. Recovery yields of Ni(II) in real samples were mostly above 95%.
