Abstract
Wittig 반응에 의해 Triphenylamine(TPA) group1과 phenylene unit(p-, o-, bi-), 전자 주게 효과가 있는 치환체를 공중합하여 높은 효율의 녹색에서 청색영역까지의 발광을 확인하였다. 이들 공중합체(TPA-PPV, TPA-POPV, TPA-ROPPV, TPA-PBPV)의 UV-Vis., PL 흡수 피크는 각각 378 nm~440 nm, 447 nm~503 nm에서 나타났 고, Eg는 2.53 eV~2.81 eV 영역임을 확인하였다.

The PPV related copolymers, TPA-PPV, TPA-POPV, TPA-ROPPV, and TPA-PBPV were synthesized by the Wittig polycondensation reaction to tune the emission wavelength from green to blue region. They showed UV-Vis. absorbance and PL in the ranges of 378 nm~440 nm and 447 nm~503 nm, respectively. The band gap energy of these copolymers were in the ranges of 2.53 eV~2.81 eV.
