Abstract	The alkylated olivetol derivatives were prepared for evaluation as analgesic agents. Olivetol derivatives were proven to have analgesic activity by the acetic acid-induced writhing test and tail-flick test. These compounds were prepared by condensation of appropriate olivetols with cyclic allylic alcohols in the presence of BF3-etherate on alumina.
